A member of the immensely popular show The Blue Collar Comedy Tour, Ron White has made a living making people laugh on stage and screen. From 2000 to 2003 he performed with the other members of The Blue Collar Comedy Tour (Jeff Foxworthy, Bill Engvall and Larry the Cable Guy) in the show that helped to elevate his fame to the point where he now headlines his own shows. Fans that fell out of their seats laughing watching him on TV will be anxious to get tickets to see him live!
Known for performing in his trademark black suits while smoking a cigar and drinking scotch whiskey, Ron White is certainly unique. His routines consist of his cynical observational skills of everyday life with a delivery that can only be described as deadpan. His debut solo comedy CD, Drunk in Public, was released in November 2003. It was in the Top 10 of Billboard's Comedy Charts, peaking at #2. Comedy Central gave White his first one-hour comedy special named They Call Me Tater Salad. The special earned Comedy Central its highest rating for a Sunday in its history and has sold more than 1.3 million copies.
Ron White's second one-hour special, You Can't Fix Stupid, premiered in 2006 with 4.5 million viewers. It was Comedy Central's third largest audience in its history. For his performance, Ron White was nominated for a Grammy Award. That same year he took part in Blue Collar Comedy Tour - One For The Road, which was also nominated for a Grammy for Best Comedy Album.
